Pattycake was adopted in September 2014.
Pattycake’s bio:
Hi! My name is PattyCake! I am a 1 year old female chocolate lab mix that is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and micro-chipped. I am about knee high, and weigh about 40 lbs. I love life and am happy all the time. My foster mom says my tail never stops wagging.
I am ALL about loving big people and little people – however, due to my enthusiastic nature, I can not go to a home with children under 10.
I absolutely love to be with my foster family. I sleep in their bed, lay with them on the couch, and follow them all over the house.
My favorite thing to do is go on adventures with my people. I love riding in the car, going for walks, jumping in the lake, playing fast with other dogs at the dog park, basically anywhere you want to bring me. I even got to fly in an airplane when NorthStar had me transferred from a high kill shelter in Illinois to Wisconsin. Wow! That was fun!
I am very eager to please, and love working for my treats. I would do really well if my forever family took me to obedience classes, both to continue learning how to be a good little doggie, listen to my people, and also to help socialize me with other dogs. I really like other dogs, but have a dominant personality. I want to be the top dog!
I am still learning how to play gently, and not to jump up on the people that I love so much, so a home without toddlers or babies would be best, as I could accidently little ones down. I am a very fast runner and physically very strong, so would do best with a fenced in yard where I can run. I love to run! I really love to chase the cat! I do not hurt him, but my foster cat brother grew up in a house with big dogs and thinks he IS a dog.
I sure hope to find my forever home soon. I have so much happiness and love to share.
