Lady, now known as Daisy was adopted in October 2014. Here’s a note from her family:
This past Friday marked 3 weeks with Daisy. Or as we like to call her, “Daisy Love,” “Lovebug,” or “The Daze.” Ryann, when I got your text, we were eating dinner and Daisy was practicing her down stay. Now we are out in our backyard enjoying a fire in the dark and Daisy is rummaging around every corner of the yard. There are many things she likes to find back here like mice and rabbits.
Daisy has progressed enormously with the cats, Jake and Ellie. We think she will have graduated Feline University by Thanksgiving. The three animals are out and about in the house on a regular basis now, when somebody is home to supervise. Daisy has learned not to chase. Tonight was a landmark when Jake let her lick his ear a few times. Ellie is taking a little bit longer to warm up but she is definitely not afraid and definitely curious. Daisy takes instruction very well. She will soon accept that the cats are boring little creatures that do not want to play doggy games:(.
Daisy has definitely found her Forever home and we’re so glad she made it up here from Texas to join her family.
Miss Lady is an adorable Pug-mix who was surrendered by her owner to a high kill shelter. About 5 years old, Lady is one of the sweetest dogs we have had the fortune to meet. Her foster mom says Lady is just a dream dog.
She does well with other dogs but would love to live the life of luxury being the Queen Bee of her forever home. She loves to go for walks and to cuddle on your lap. Lady is about 17 lbs and she could stand to lose a few pounds, which won’t be hard to do if she has regular play time with other dogs where they can run and chase each other.
Lady is spayed, HW-negative and current on vaccinations. She is also house and crate trained. She is located in the Madison area.
We will post more photos as we get to know Miss Lady.
