Brody was adopted by his foster family during his recovery from ACL surgery in July 2015.   He definitely hit the jackpot!

Brody’s Bio:

Brody is a male 4-5 year old Rottweiler mix who came to NorthStar from a local shelter so we don’t know much about his previous life.

Brody,  like many stray dogs, came to us lacking in house manners.  We are working on this and are seeing good improvement.   He is a smart guy who wants to please so training is going well.

He gets along with most dogs with proper introductions.  We do know that Brody does not like cats and will chase them relentlessly. So a cat-free home is a must.

Brody does well with children over age 5 too.

A great home for Brody would be a home with people willing to provide him consistency, clear directions and lots of love.

Brody is scheduled for surgery July 22 to repair an ACL tear on his back right leg that occured recently.  NorthStar will pay for this surgery.  Dogs heal better in a loving home, so Brody is available for adoption now with the understanding that he’ll need to have limited exercise until as well as a couple of weeks after this needed surgery at our vet clinic in Madison.

He is UTD with vaccinations, heartworm negative and we are working on 100% housebreaking as well as crate training.  Please fill out an application for this sweet guy today!
