Tori was updated in November 2016.  Here’s a photo of her with her new family!

Tori’s bio:

Tori is a 9 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix, who’s calm and content! She has great social skills and thinks strangers are just friends she hasn’t met yet.  She loves nothing more than lounging around near you.  She’s house broken, crate trained and gets along just fine with her big foster brother, a full size GSD. She was introduced briefly to a cat during a training session and seemed to show no reaction.tori1Outside, she will require a secure fence or tie out. She walks nicely with an Ez walk harness. When encountering other dogs, she becomes slightly vocal with some whining but she has good doggie skills and gets along well with most.

Inside, she let’s you know when she needs to go out.  She will watch you contently if you are eating, no begging just her gorgeous eyes watching, but after a short time, she’ll move away and wait for crumbs.  If the trash can isn’t secure behind a door, she will go thru the trash to find any goodies.

Tori is currently on Proin (a medication to help with some daytime leaking)  This is working well and we believe a home where she can be let out a few times a day will continue to improve her “accident” rate.   Otherwise, she’s a very healthy and happy dog.  Tori is spayed, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
