Ember is an adorable, and oh so sweet 10 week old female puppy. She is a German Shepherd mix. Mom was a purebred German Shepherd, and we are guessing Dad was a lab. She is all black, with a few white strands on her belly and floppy ears. She is up to date for her age on vaccinations and will be adopted out on a spay contract. She is being socialized daily and loves playing with her foster GSD brother and sister, the cat and our children.
We recommend a home with older children committed to taking obedience training together with Ember. In part, because she is still a puppy and learning that hands are not ok to chew on, and people are not to be jumped on. She is learning how to walk on a leash, and that going potty happens outside!! She loves chew sticks, and tennis balls. She rides well in the car, and is learning that her crate is a happy place. She will sleep in her crate, but prefers to snuggle in bed. Ember would love a family with other children or dogs to play with.
She is a high energy dog, likes to be with us all the time, and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. Please see our adoption page for info on how to adopt Ember.
